Horiki designed washi items with a “shape of the heart” theme using an original pattern signifying special connections, as well as stoles, umbrellas, bags, and other items. The designs reflect Japanese aesthetics and spirit of artisanship, employing washi making methods even with non-washi materials along with the materials’ inherent colors.
