Okayama 2013

Fifty sheets of large-sized washi with a unique continuous watermark pattern were created for the external wall. The washi was laminated with non-reflective glass, and test data for these sheets showed 99.9% color fastness; coupled with the effective use of the washi texture,
its functions and applications have been broadened, underlining the attractive points of washi as a new decorative material. At night light shining through the washi creates an original and warm atmosphere making the building a glowing landmark in the urban district of Okayama City.
