Purpose of ERIKO HORIKI WORKS

To contribute to the society through Washi paper (Japanese traditional paper) production and fulfill the requirements of the time.

Current Activity of Eriko Horiki
1.
Production of original Washi paper (basic size: 2100x2700mm).
With Lighting, Washi paper can be used dynamically on walls and ceilings.
2.
Development of new techniques to solve common problems of Washi paper such as burning, discoloring & color fading, tearing and shrinking.
Product development by introducing new technology and special coating.

    Introduction of a three-dimensional paper making method.
    (Registered as utility model patent)
    The production of Light Objet series with this method has been helping to increase the employment opportunity for handicapped and elderly people and vitalize local industries.

    Introduction of large-scale paper making method (max 15mx5m).
    (Registered as utility model patent)
    This makes it possible to meet a requirement of large-scale installation of Washi paper in modern architectural spaces.
